Chandler Callaway, PhD

Chandler received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. He then went on to do his PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in cancer biology at the University of Florida, mentored by Dr. Andrew Judge. His thesis project was focused on uncovering the role of tumor-derived IL8 and CXCL1 in muscle wasting during pancreatic cancer cachexia.

Chandler joined the Bonetto lab as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus to investigate mechanisms of muscle and bone wasting in cancer cachexia.
